Minox Technology as has signed a contract with a major Oil & Gas operator in the Gulf of Mexico, for the supply of one Minox deaeration unit to be installed offshore to increase oil recovery for the next 20 years.

The unit will have a total treatment capacity of 70.000 barrels of water per day ( bwpd) and will support the production on an existing deep water field in the Gulf of Mexico.

The Minox unit will be fabricated in Texas, USA and will be ready for installation on the topside first half of 2021. Project Management, Engineering and Procurement will be done from Minox office in Notodden, Norway

This is an important contract for our company and worldwide we see an increased and renewed interest for our dearation process and we expect continued growth for the company in the next years to come. This will strengthen our innovation and development of our new deaeration concepts with compact, low maintenance and environmentally friendly systems.
